Collecting rent on time, and having tenants who you can trust, is the cornerstone of investing in rental properties. However, if tenants become delinquent, do not follow the terms of their in house arrangements, and remain past due, the company then evicts the tenants and puts their account with an outside collection agency.
As a Utah real estate investment brokerage and property management company we have relationships with many competent and successful collection companies/attorneys that we use dependent on the the location of the property. Our tenant collection services offer the help owners need to recover the rent. Collection fees vary based on the amount to be collected and the nature of the debt, but on average come to about 50%. This will be assessed against the tenant over and above the collection amount and Paradigm Real Estate will be entitled to its Management Fee on any amount collected.
